Outagamie Co. releases list of cooling shelters

OUTAGAMIE COUNTY - Outagamie County emergency management officials have released a list of places where people can cool off from the heat:

Appleton Public Library

Officials remind people to check on elderly or ill neighbors and relatives, especially if they do not have air conditioning. Fans become ineffective to reduce heat-related illness when temperatures are over 90 degrees.
