Green Bay lost 4" of snow in the big thaw that occurred Sunday into Monday. But we still have 5" of the white stuff, or in some cases gray stuff on the ground.
The most snow in the state is in the "lake effect snow belt" areas of Northern Wisconsin. Bayfield, Ashland, Iron, and Vilas counties have between 12" and 27" on the ground.
The least amount of snow is located in southern Door, Northern Kewaunee, and Eastern Oconto County where 2" is being reported.
Good news for snow enthusiast is that more snow is expected by Thursday.
