AUSTIN (KXAN) - Another piece of the construction puzzle at the Circuit of the Americas track will soon come together as TS Sports was named to provide the venue's audio and video system needs.

TS Sports is a Dallas-based company founded in 1997 that has installed LED displays in more than 130 stadiums and facilities across the country, including the American Airlines Center.

CoTA will be fitted with five permanent HD10 LED screens, along with 17 rented screens for use during the U.S. Grand Prix race set for Nov. 16 to Nov. 18.

Of the five permanent screens, three will be placed in the pit building and measure 15 feet tall and 29 feet side.

Two permanent screens in the main grandstand will be approximately 15 feet tall and 21 feet wide.

HD10 is a state-of-the-art LED video display manufactured by Lighthouse Technologies that delivers spectacular brightness, ultra-high contrast and excellent image resolution and uniformity, according to CoTA staff. The system is part of TS Sports and Lighthouse's new GreenLine series that provides for long-term energy savings.

TS Sports will integrate more than 240 LED video boards in a variety of sizes and dimensions for COTA events.

“Circuit of The Americas chose to partner with TS Sports due to the exceptional quality of its products and the creativity the TS Sports team uses when designing and implementing LED video systems that enhance fans’ experiences,” said Mike Craddock, director of technology for Circuit of The Americas. “Our facility includes a purpose-built Formula 1™ racecourse, and it will also host a variety of sports, entertainment and business events. TS Sports offers our venue flexible solutions to deliver high-quality content as unique and diverse as the types of events that will call COTA ‘home’.”
