FORESTVILLE - It's a beautiful time of year to visit Door County!
Cherry trees are in full bloom across the area. The thousands of trees that line the Door County landscape are full of white flowers. It's one of the beginning stages of the fruit's growing process and it makes for a scenic view.
Growers say the blooms will only be around for another week. Then, they will fall to the ground to make room for the cherries. The cherries are anticipated to be ready for picking by the end of July.
