GREEN BAY - Organizers at Freedom House, in Green Bay are fundraising for a new resource center.
FOX 11's Emily Deem spent Tuesday morning in Green Bay to see how folks can help.
The "current" center has only 3 computers and most of the time they don't work.
Residents at Freedom House use the current center for many things.
They're required to take a parenting and financial class once a week during their stay and use the center for GED studying, resume writing and more.
Organizers say they're in the fundraising mode. The flooring has already been donated and soon they will want to purchase paint, chairs, tables and one of their biggest expenses, laptops.
Donations can be made at any Johnson bank location (Appleton, DePere, Green Bay , Howard ) or contact Kati at email@example.com or click here.
