Indie rock band Aranda is the opening act for the Daughtry and 3 Doors Down concert at the Resch Center.
The Oklahoma City-based rock band landed a record deal with Wind-up Records, thanks to students at the University of Central Oklahoma.
The band turned to college students for helping in marketing its self-titled album in 2008.
The marketing plan included a social media presence on Twitter and Facebook, a branded store and street teams to promote the band.
Aranda joined Good Day Wisconsin Wednesday to talk about the tour. The group also performed a couple of songs.
