1 1/2 pounds ground round
Salt and pepper
1/4 cup sliced jalapeno peppers
4 ounces softened cream cheese
4 slices cheddar cheese
4 split and toasted hamburger buns
4 slices lettuce
4 slices tomato
Make 4 patties with the ground chuck. Season them with a little salt and pepper. Grill or fry burgers, flipping once. Just before they are done spread each with some cream cheese. Top each with some jalapeno pepper slices and then a slice of cheese. Cover until cheese melts. Burgers are done when they reach an internal temp of 160°. Serve burgers on buns with lettuce and tomato.
