1 deep dish pie crust (9" rolled out a bit)
1 stick melted butter
1/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
3/4 cup light corn syrup
4 large eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup chocolate chips & 1/4 cup chocolate chips plus 1 tsp oil
1/3 cup bourbon
1 1/2 cup toasted pecan halves
whipped cream & vanilla ice cream (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. P lace pie crust into deep dish pie pan and flute edges as desired. B eat butter, sugars, eggs, vanilla, corn syrup and bourbon in large mixing bowl with electric mixer until frothy. Fold in 3/4 cup chocolate chips and toasted pecans. Pour this filling into pie crust lined pie pan and bake in oven for 50-60 minutes or until set.
Melt remaining 1/4 cup chocolate chips with 1 tsp oil and drizzle over baked pie. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
