2 tablespoons butter, divided
1 small yellow onion, sliced thin
Half of a red pepper sliced into thin strips Half of a green pepper sliced into thin strip Salt and pepper
1 jar (15 ounces) Cheese Whiz
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1/4 cup chunky salsa
6 to 8 brats
6 to 8 Brat Buns, toasted
Extra salsa (optional)
Sliced pickled jalapeno peppers (optional)
In a saucepan or in the microwave, carefully melt cheese with mayonnaise and salsa to make a nacho cheese sauce. Stir until smooth and keep warm. If cheese sauce gets too thick add a little milk. Saute vegetables in butter until soft. Season with salt and pepper. Grill brats. Place brats on Buns. Serve with cheese sauce and peppers on top. Top with extra salsa and jalapeno peppers if desired.
