GREEN BAY - A Green Bay police officer was injured after a crash involving a drunken driver Sunday morning.
It happened just after 4:30 near the corner of East Mason and Bellevue Streets.
Officials say the 23-year-old driver failed to stop at the intersection and struck the police car.
The police officer was treated for minor injures and has been released.
Police say they will recommend charges of operating while intoxicated.
The accident is still under investigation.
