OSHKOSH - Oshkosh police say they arrested two men after an armed robbery Sunday night.
Officers say they were called to Marathon gas station, 1320 Oshkosh Ave., around 7:30 p.m. for a report of an armed robbery. According to the report, a man walked into the store with a handgun and demanded money. He left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police say they caught up to a car matching the description of the getaway vehicle at the intersection of S. Eagle St. and W. 2nd Ave. Officers pulled the car over and arrested two men inside, ages 54 and 19. Both were from Oshkosh. Police say they found the gun, money and other evidence inside the car.
The 54-year-old was jailed on a count of armed robbery and was also given a ticket for first-time operating while intoxicated. The 19-year-old was jailed on a count of being party to the crime of armed robbery.
Police did not release the men's names.
