APPLETON - Voters heading to the polls Tuesday to narrow the field to replace an Appleton alderman will need to go to a different location.
The primary election is necessary after Dist. 1 Ald. Teege Mettille resigned last month. Voters will choose two finalists from among three candidates: Tanya Rabec, Tim Trauger and Michael Potter.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. at St. Matthew's Church, 129 S. Mason St.
The general election is set for Aug. 20.
Dist. 1 covers most of the area between College Ave. and Parkway Blvd., and Drew and Richmond streets.
