Eyes were on the skies in Oshkosh Saturday.
A special "Oshkosh Air Maneuvers Challenge" took place at Wittman Regional Airport.
It's an aerobatic contest.
Pilots from around the world, and all skill levels took part in the event.
Organizers say it's all about sharing skills and a passion for aviation.
"You're really competing against yourself. You have to like seeking perfection, and working the bugs out of your flying. It's a passion, there's no money in the sport, but it's people who like to do it are unique, interesting individuals," said event organizer, Doug Partl.
This is the first aerobatic contest at Wittman Regional Airport since 1980.
The event wraps up Sunday.
