FOND DU LAC - A family has been forced from their home after a fire in Fond du Lac.
It happened around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at a home on North Hickory Street.
Fire officials say the blaze started in a room on the first floor, and spread into the basement and attic.
Everyone was able to get out safely, and no one was hurt.
The rest of the house sustained extensive smoke and heat damage.
Investigators are still trying to figure out how the fire started.
