FOND DU LAC – The Fond du Lac Fire Department has some new life-saving tools to aid in water rescues.
The department recently received two Mercury inflatable rescue boats and a tandem trailer.
The new boats replace a 20-year-old inflatable boat.
Fire officials say the trailer will save critical time when deploying the boats.
Fire department members will undergo hands-on training in the coming weeks.
