GRAND CHUTE – A Grand Chute child care center was locked down after a hoax 911 call Monday afternoon.
Police say someone called in a weapons complaint for a home in the 2700 block of W. Capitol Dr.
Our Shepherd Child Care, which is nearby, was placed on lock down and a portion of W. Capitol Dr. was blocked off.
Officers searched the area and determined the 911 call was a hoax.
Police are working to determine the source of the call.
