APPLETON – A Kaukauna man accused of threatening a woman’s life and kidnapping her is now charged.
According to online court records, James Anderson, 37, is charged with multiple felonies including attempted first-degree intentional homicide.
Police say last week Anderson threatened an acquaintance with a gun in Kaukauna and forced her to drive a vehicle.
While the two were in Little Chute, police say the victim escaped from the vehicle.
Anderson was later arrested in Michigan.
He is scheduled to return to court on Oct. 25 for his preliminary hearing.
