KAUKAUNA - A man being sought by Kaukauna police has been arrested in Michigan.
On Monday, police said they were searching for James E. Anderson, 37. They said he had been involved in an incident in Kaukauna and Little Chute over the weekend and that they were considering him “armed and dangerous.”
Since the arrest, police have released some more information about the weekend incident. They say on Saturday in the 500 block of W. Wisconsin Ave., Anderson threatened an acquaintance with a gun, forcing her to drive a vehicle. While the two were driving in the 300 block of W. Main St. in Little Chute, police say the victim escaped from the vehicle. At that point, police were contacted.
Michigan State Police found Anderson and arrested him Tuesday morning. Authorities did not say where in Michigan he was found.
Charges against Anderson have been referred to the Outagamie Co. District Attorney’s Office.
