APPLETON - Appleton police are looking for the driver of a car involved in a crash that sent a 12-year-old girl to the hospital.
Police say the crash happened just before 7:30 a.m. Monday at the intersection of S. Greenview St. and E. Calumet St. That is near James Madison Middle School. Police say the driver stopped and got out of her car briefly after hitting the girl, who was on a bicycle. However, the driver then left the scene.
The girl had arm and leg injuries. They were not life-threatening.
Anyone who witnessed the accident is asked to call Sgt. Fischer at (920) 832-5500.
