OSHKOSH - Dozens of bicyclists representing myTEAM TRIUMPH hit the pavement Friday.
The 335 mile tour started in Green Bay. FOX 11 caught up with the ride in Oshkosh.
It goes through Sun Prairie and Menomonee Falls, before returning to Green Bay on Sunday.
myTEAM TRIUMPH is a non-profit athletic mentoring program for people of all age and skill level.
The three-day cycling event pairs up able-bodied and challenged athletes.
Organizers say the tour provides character and confidence to all.
"We're out to enable the spirit of challenged athletes in endurance events, so usually very challenged individuals who have severe disabilities, we help them participate in local endurance events, enhance their health, help them get involved in their community,” said Christian Jensen, executive director of myTEAM TRIUMPH Wisconsin.
Proceeds from the weekend events help benefit disabled veterans.
