OSHKOSH - The Sunnyview Expo Center in Oshkosh was the site of the Winnebago County Safety and Security Fair on Saturday.
Law enforcement and fire crews from throughout the county took part in the event.
K-9 Unit demonstrations and an up-close look at safety vehicles were some of the activities visitors could enjoy.
Organizers say the event is a way for people to find out what resources are available to keep them safe.
"Give an opportunity for people to understand what we in law enforcement have, what firefighters have, we're resources for them that they can come and talk to us, that we're there to protect them," said Peter Ehlert, a deputy with Winnebago County.
Their goal is to hold continue this event every year.
