An experimental aircraft crashed Sunday around noon on its way to the EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh.
Winnebago County officials say the small plane suffered engine failure. The 61-year-old pilot had to make an emergency landing in a field in the 5600 block of Fisk Avenue in Oshkosh.
Officials say neither the pilot nor his passenger were injured.
Sunday afternoon, police were making arrangements to remove the plane from the field.
The FAA and NTSB have been notified about the crash.
