WAUTOMA - A Wautoma man has pleaded not guilty to charges he killed another man at a motel.
Travis Petersen, 42, faces one count of first-degree intentional homicide for the death of Robert Kasun. Kasun's body was found March 6 in a room at the Mount Morris Motel.
Petersen pleaded not guilty to the charges Wednesday.
Petersen told investigators that he and Kasun had been drinking together the afternoon of Kasun's death, but he claims he left because he got a phone call.
Petersen is due back in court June 19.
