OSHKOSH - An Oshkosh woman was sentenced to two years in prison for killing a pedestrian with her car.
Prosecutors say 46-year-old Tina Trepanier was drunk last September when she hit Gina Micheln.
Prosecutors say Micheln was also drunk and that she was sitting in the middle of the road at the time.
Authorities say the victim was dragged for nearly a city block and died of her injuries.
Before her sentence was handed down, Trepanier apologized.
"I would like to say I'm deeply sorry to Gina's family. I know that cannot bring your mother back or your sister or your daughter or your friend. I'm terribly sorry," said Trepanier.
After she is released from prison, Trepanier will spend three years on supervised release.
