APPLETON - UW-Oshkosh opened a new executive education center in Appleton Thursday.
The center offers executive Master of Business Administration programs, as well as leadership and professional development training.
University leaders say this will be more convenient for people who have jobs farther north in the Fox Cities. They say the classes are for people both with and without business degrees.
Kathy Hagens, the director of the MBA program, said the Appleton center will "expand on leadership, management, business courses that they maybe never had before, but ultimately it's about career growth."
While the center's grand opening was Thursday, some classes have already started.
