TOWN OF MENASHA - A 44-year-old Appleton woman is accused of driving drunk with a child in her car.
Police say the woman tried driving away Sunday night from a crash in the Town of Menasha.
Police say she had a child in a car seat in the back seat.
She was arrested on suspicion of OWI, but was taken to the hospital for a blood draw.
That didn't go smoothly.
Police say the woman yelled and swore at officers, and also spit on an officer and hospital security guard.
Authorities are recommending several charges including third offense OWI and disorderly conduct.
