GREEN BAY - Green Bay police officers have had their hands full the past few weeks investigating a rash of burglaries and robberies.
However, they now say suspects are in custody.
"Happy to hear an arrest was made because Krider Drug is in our association," said Marquette Park Neighborhood Association President Jim Ridderbush.
Ridderbush says he was surprised to hear Krider Pharmacy was recently burglarized.
"It's a good old neighborhood, since I've lived here probably 35 out of my 51 years," Ridderbush said.
But this case is just one of a handful under investigation by Green Bay police.
"The fact that we've had a series of crimes occur over the last couple weeks is concerning, but there is some resolution for victims in the fact we have made arrest in a lot of the cases," explained Lt. Kevin Warych with the Green Bay Police Department.
Authorities say three gas stations were robbed in the last month. Police say suspects in those cases have been arrested.
And two individuals were arrested in connection with three separate residential burglaries on the far west side of the city.
That case, officials believe, was driven by drug addiction.
"The two suspects identified were targeting either family members or people they knew weren't home and they were breaking in via going through the garage service door or garage door and taking the items," Warych said.
Business managers we talked to declined on-camera interviews, however they did tell us they were happy to hear arrests have been made and will continue to work with authorities.
Green Bay police say more arrests are possible as they continue to investigate each case.
