ASHWAUBENON - One person was hurt in a crash in Ashwaubenon Monday morning.
Ashwaubenon Public Safety officers say the crash happened just after 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Cormier Rd. and S. Ashland Ave. According to police, a car headed east on Cormier, driven by an older woman, ran a red light and hit a car traveling on Ashland. The eastbound car went across the road and went into a ditch, coming to rest just before falling into one of the culverts over the water.
Rescuers used equipment to stabilize the car before they could help the driver. She was then taken to the hospital.
The driver of the second car was not hurt.
Officers continue to investigate the crash.
