BROWN COUNTY - Brown County officials are looking for two people who they say used another person's credit or debit cards.
Investigators say just before 7 p.m. March 12, a man and a woman walked into the CVS Pharmacy, 2222 S. Webster Ave., in Allouez. They tried to use cards belonging to someone in Maine to buy several hundred dollars worth of gift cards, but the transaction was denied.
Just before 9 p.m. that night, the man went to the CVS Pharmacy at 800 Main St. in De Pere, where he successfully used the card to buy a $450 gift card. The woman tried five more times to buy things with two separate credit cards, but was denied.
They left in a newer silver compact car.
Surveillance photos of the suspects and their car can be seen to the left.
Investigators think the two are working as part of a larger group, but did not say why they think that.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Brown Co. Sheriff's Office at (920) 448-6190. Anonymous tips can be left with Crime Stoppers by calling (920) 432-7867 or texting GBTIP and the information to 274637.
