OCONTO - A Green Bay man has been convicted for his role in a string of burglaries in Brown, Oconto, and Marinette Counties, spanning back to 2012.
Richard Michiels appeared in Oconto County Circuit Court Wednesday and pleaded guilty to conspiracy for conduct in Brown County.
Michiels also pleaded no contest to three counts of burglary, two counts of felony theft, and one count of obstructing an officer in Oconto County
He has also agreed to four read-in offenses which occurred in Marinette County.
Sentencing is set for December 19th. Michiels faces 60 years and three months behind bars and fines up to $130,000.
According to the criminal complaints, Michiels and two other people were responsible for the burglaries.
