GREEN BAY - Green Bay police are investigating several incidents of vandalism in the past few days.
Officers say, over the weekend, someone damaged gravestones and statues on graves at Fort Howard Cemetery, which is located at Velp and Military avenues. Sever gravestones were tipped over and statues were smashed or broken. A retaining wall was also damaged.
Police are also investigating cases on the city’s west and near east sides where windows on cars and houses were smashed out with glass marbles that appeared to have been shot with a slingshot or similar device.
It is unknown whether the incidents are related.
