ASHWAUBENON - An area company announced it's reaching new heights with an expansion.
Jet Air says it's adding a new 34,000-square-foot hanger at Austin Straubel Airport.
The building will include space for aircraft storage, as well as a repair shop.
Governor Walker was at Monday's groundbreaking. He says the expansion will lead to more jobs.
"In and of itself it is an economic boom just in terms of the people who will be working on this, the people who continue to be working for Jet Air and the new jobs that will come out of the expansion," said Governor Walker.
The expansion is scheduled to be finished by spring.
