"Zumba Day by the Bay" hoped to break the Guinness World Record for the largest Zumba class.

Although the world record wasn't broken, another one was.
The event is going down as the largest Zumba-taught class in the U.S.
Organizers say it's a fun way to promote a healthy and active lifestyle.
This weekend's Zumba event also gave back to the community.
Participants were encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to be donated to local pantries.
