SUAMICO - The NEW Zoo in Suamico is getting ready to add some adventure.
Zoo officials gave members of the public and the Brown County Board a tour on Thursday of the land that will be used for the zoo's new adventure park.
The park will include a zip line, which will start form the top of the old fire tower. It will also have a climbing wall and something called an aerial adventure course.
Construction is expected to start in the next couple of weeks.
"When we looked at this, we had the perfect site at the zoo to go ahead and make this happen," said Zoo Director Neil Anderson. "So, we also wanted an experience that would compliment the zoo, but also fit within the park system as well."
Anderson says the adventure park is scheduled to open next April.
