GREEN BAY--An up-and-coming sport with an unusual name had participant competing in Green Bay Saturday.
It's called pickleball. And no, doesn't involve actual pickles.
The sport is said to be a mix of ping pong, badminton and tennis.
Teams faced off Saturday on the courts at Edison Middle School in Green Bay.
Organizers say it's a fun game to get people moving.
"It's a good physical activity to get people in good shape, and people can play it at all different skill levels and have a good time doing it," said Bob Fry, Pickleball Regional Ambassador.
The local tournament featured more than 25 teams from Wisconsin and Minnesota.
