Felix Ruiz was sentenced Friday to three and a half years in prison for the death of 52-year-old Daryl Wayka.
Investigators say after the crash on Main St. in July, Ruiz's brother drove him to Milwaukee to take a bus to Mexico.

Police eventually found Ruiz hiding in a closet at a friend's house in Howard.
In addition to his prison term, Ruiz will be on extended supervision for three and a half years and will have to pay restitution for funeral costs.
