GREEN BAY - Some area students will soon be taking to the airwaves to help prevent suicides.
Twenty-eight students from Preble High School acted in a public service announcement Friday.
FOX 11 filmed their acting debut.
The students also wrote the PSA. It addresses suicide and how to help those who are struggling.
The clip also lets people know the warning signs and where resources are available.
"We came up because we though that, we go into classrooms and give presentations, but we thought that it would be better if everybody got involved instead of just our little school," said Allison Salfai, Preble High School student.
The 30 second PSA will air on FOX 11 and CW 14 starting next month.
