EPHRAIM - A woman is dead after a crash in Door County.
The crash happened just before 4 p.m. Friday in the village of Ephraim.
Authorities say 73-year-old Julia Foote was headed northbound on State Hwy. 42 when she crossed the center line and collided with a southbound vehicle.
Both drivers were taken by ambulance to the hospital, where the northbound driver died.
Foote was a summer resident of Ephraim and also had a residence in New York.
The crash investigation is ongoing.
