TOWN OF EATON – Five people are injured after an ATV accident this weekend in Manitowoc County.
It happened Saturday around 9:17 p.m. in a field on W. Steinthal Rd. in the Town of Eaton.
Sheriff’s officials say a 33-year-old woman was operating an ATV and pulling a garden-type trailer with five people on it. While traveling through a field, the trailer broke free and overturned. All five people were ejected and hurt.
Four of the passengers were transported to the hospital by ambulance. The other was airlifted by ThedaStar helicopter.
Sheriff’s officials say those hurt range in age from 30 to 41 years old.
There is no word on the extent of their injuries.
