KIEL - Former Sheboygan Mayor Bob Ryan was arrested Sunday night for drunken driving in Kiel.
According to police, Ryan was stopped at approximately 11:54 p.m. while driving east on County Highway XX, near State Highway 67.
Following the traffic stop, Ryan was arrested and transported to Holy Family Memorial Hospital in Manitowoc for a legal blood draw.
Ryan was then transported to the Manitowoc County Jail where he was held on a 12 hour detention.
Ryan was issued a citation for OWI and his initial court appearance is schedule for Tuesday, April 23rd.
