STURGEON BAY - The 80-year-old woman who made a miraculous landing at a Door County airport earlier this week is out of the hospital.
John Collins, 81, suffered a deadly heart attack, mid-air, leaving Helen Collins to take over the controls.
With very little flight experience, Helen was able to land with the help of two other pilots coaching her.
She suffered some injuries after making a hard landing.
Her son says she was released Friday afternoon.
Meanwhile, visitation for John Collins is set for Monday from 3-8 p.m. at Huehns Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay.
A funeral service will be Tuesday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, also in Sturgeon Bay.
