SHEBOYGAN FALLS - Investigators in Sheboygan County have identified two people from Plymouth who were killed in a crash that also injured a mayor.
The crash Sunday evening on Highway 32 in Sheboygan Falls killed 81-year-old Suzanne Jackson and 61-year-old Lew Handley.
Two other people were injured, including Sheboygan Falls Mayor Randy Meyer and his wife Tammy.
They were taken to a hospital with what paramedics believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
Members of the community are speaking out, offering their prayers and thoughts to the mayor and those involved.
"This is gonna affect a lotta people, in our community--Sheboygan Falls, Sheboygan, Howards Grove, the general, Sheboygan community, and everybody he knows. He's a nationally-known speaker," said Mark Weber, Howards Grove High School Baseball coach.
Officials say Mayor Meyer's wife has been released from the hospital.
The City of Sheboygan has completed its portion of the crash investigation.
A final crash report is expected when the State Patrol finishes its investigation.
