TOWNSHIP OF BLACKWELL - A missing woman is in the hospital after officials discovered her in Forest County Friday.
The Forest County Sheriff's Department received a call about a woman who went missing in the Township of Blackwell just before 4 p.m. Friday.
Officials say they searched the township and discovered her vehicle in a wooded area. The woman was not in the vehicle when it was discovered.
Authorities say they sent a K-9 unit out to search for her, and the dog found the woman more than 200 yards away from the vehicle.
The woman was taken to a hospital in Rhinelander for care.
Officials are not releasing her identity at this time.
