SHAWANO COUNTY - Shawano County sheriff's officials have identified two persons of interest in the burglary of a deceased couple's home.
It happened in January at an unoccupied home on Mielke Rd. in the town of Grant.
Investigators say a significant amount of cash was stolen following the deaths of 90-year-old husband and wife, Eldore and Malinda Mielke.
Sheriff's officials say evidence was collected at the scene and the department worked with other law enforcement agencies throughout the state.
One of the persons of interest is a 32-year-old Junction City man, who is being held elsewhere for a similar, but unrelated offense.
A 23-year-old Wisconsin Rapids woman is the other person of interest.
No charges have been filed.
