MADISON - The number of concealed carry licenses in Wisconsin has crossed a milestone.
The 200,000th license was printed Monday.
Those licenses are issued by the state Department of Justice.
The department says it receives 500 to 1,000 applications every week.
There's a $40 application fee for Wisconsinites to apply for a concealed carry license. Previously it was $50.
Wisconsin began allowing concealed carry almost two years ago.
