MILWAUKEE (AP) - A Milwaukee food company that already recalled more than 9 tons of products including chicken salad and ham salad is expanding its recall to include other chicken and ham products.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture says the products are being recalled due to possible contamination with a microbe known as listeria.
The products were made by Garden-Fresh Foods Inc. They include ham salad, chicken salad and liver pate.
The latest recall covers 20 products and represents about 6,700 pounds of food. Last month Garden-Fresh recalled 11 related products. The USDA has the full list of products on its website.
A message left with the company Friday was not immediately returned.
The USDA says the recall was initiated following results of microbial testing, but there have been no reports of illnesses.
