GREEN LAKE COUNTY - One person was killed and another injured after a two-vehicle traffic crash in Green Lake County Monday morning.
It happened around 7:00 a.m. on State Highway 23 west of Forest Ridge Rd. in the town of Brooklyn.
Sheriff's officials say Sharon Leu, 71, of Green Lake turned from a driveway and into the path of an oncoming pickup truck. She died at the scene from her injuries.
The driver of the truck, a 38-year-old Ripon man, was flown by helicopter to Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah. The extent of his injuries is not known.
The area where the crash happened was closed for approximately two hours.
