MILWAUKEE (AP) - Milwaukee police are searching for a suspect after a teenager was shot to death in a city park.
Police say the shooting happened about 2:30 p.m. Monday in Washington Park. The victim was a 17-year-old boy from Milwaukee. His name was not released.
Police believe the suspect and the victim knew each other. The suspect fled after the shooting and was still at large.
Milwaukee Common Council President Willie Hines, whose district includes the park, says the shooting appears to be "an isolated, targeted incident."
