The WIAA released baseball brackets for Division 1 on Monday and Bay Port and Kimberly each received No. 1 seeds, while Hortonville and Ashwaubenon each were given No. 2 seeds.
Kimberly co-leads the Fox Valley Association with Appleton North, which is seeded No. 3 in the same bracket, while Bay Port is 13-0 in the Fox River Classic Conference.
Potential sectional semifinal matchups could be Kimberly-(4) West De Pere and North-Hortonville with the winners meeting in a sectional final.
Also, Bay Port could meet (4) Wausau West, while Ashwaubenon could meet (2) Antigo with the winners meeting in a sectional final.
The Division 1 postseason starts May 28 with the state tournament starting June 11-13.
