GRAND CHUTE - Wausaukee's second trip to the state baseball tournament ended quickly Wednesday morning as the Rangers dropped a Division 4 state quarterfinal to Greenwood, 11-1, in five innings at Fox Cities Stadium.
After a scoreless first inning, Greenwood exploded for eight runs in the second inning and coasted from there.
Beua Delaet had one hit and an RBI for Wausaukee, which ends its season at 15-7.
Wausaukee's only other state appearance came in 1993, when it also lost its first game.
